Personal Information

My name is Nathanial Mark Juchems and I had the excellent fortune of growing up, working, and learning on a diversified family farm near Plainfield, Iowa.  This has afforded me with an work ethic that produces results along with the passion to do great work even if no one is watching. 

A large part of my part of my personal development was born through 4-H and FFA where communication contests and leadership opportunities pushed my ability and confidence to communicate in written and oral form to new heights.  I am currently working with other former Nashua-Plainfield FFA Member to establish an Alumni Chapter.

An interest in computers started my IT career path journey that began small as a help desk assistant at Wartburg College in Waverly Iowa, grew in my IT Systems Engineer role at BAE Systems and has most recently culminated in my Architect and Administrator role at Lawson Software in St. Paul, Minnesota.

A colleague recommend the Masters of Science in Technology Management (MSTM) at the University of St. Thomas and due to my oustanding performance my first year at BAE Systems I enrolled into the program with full organizational backing.  The program has been a wonderful leadership journey that is culminating in the fall of 2010.  The MSTM program bings together leveraging human capital, leadership theory and application, systems engineering, and business management practices into a cohesive package taht prepares future organizational leaders in an era dominated by technological advancement.

I am married and reside in Blaine, Minnesota.  Hobbies include photography, personal computer technology, competitive computer gaming, agriculture, reading fiction, appreciating movies, and blogging.
